I am a mother of three wonderful sons. My two oldest sons are adults now and living on their own. My youngest son is on his way to college next year. I had the blessing of being a stay-at-home mom for most of my sons' lives. I am a loving, nurturing and compassionate mother and want to share those qualities with other children. I am a new professional Family Child Care Provider located in Columbia, Md Licensed by Maryland State Department Of Education. I have a small family daycare and I am different than a Daycare Center because I limit the number of children that I care for. I am licensed to care for 6 but I am caring only for 4 children. By staying small, I am able to provide the quality care and nurturing atmosphere that children need. As a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for each child that will stimulate their physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth at their own pace. I offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual and in doing so, builds self-esteem and respect for others. I have a small dog who will not have access to my daycare areas and will have no interaction with the children. My home is also smoke free and very clean.
