I am a teacher at a private school and now that we have welcomed our second child into our family, it is not making sense financially for me to go back to work. With that being said, I am interested in opening my home to another child or two to care for during the week. My daughter is three years old, energetic, and loves playing with other children. My son is 5 months old, a happy baby, and goes with the flow
I have experience working with children of all ages, including children with disabilities. I LOVE being creative with kids and encouraging social, cognitive, and developmental growth. Themes will be incorporated into daily activities to help keep the children engaged. I have dedicated a room in our house where my 3 year old daughter currently engages in school related activities (especially hands on art activities). In addition, I love exercising with the kids and strongly believe in keeping the children active. I will operate similar to a preschool only in the comfort of my home.
