Licensed Childcare Openings in Loving Family Environment (Burlington, MA)

I currently have openings in my Licensed Family Daycare Plus. Plus allows me to have 2 school age children age 5+ yrs. in addition the standard 6 children under 5 yrs. I run a flexible program, all rates are hourly, most schedules are welcome. I participate in a USDA monitored childcare food program and tuition covers 2 healthy snacks and lunch.

Ages of care range from infant through school age. My own children are adults and at 3 yrs. my son was diagnosed as globally delayed with a communication/processing disorder, Auditory Processing, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Sensory Integration Disorder, ADHD and Anxiety, so I also have many years of mothering experience in areas of special needs that parallel the Autism spectrum.

Program is language enriched and primarily play-based learning with a strong emphasis on social skills. School age children have the option to begin homework in a separate, quiet area. Some examples of a typical day include indoor play of Mega Blocks, Fisher Price Little People, kitchen, Matchbox cars/ramps, puppets & story time. Outdoor play consists of activities such as swings, sandbox, chalk, bikes & water play (weather permitting) are in a large 6 ft. fenced yard. Please note, during warmer weather months we spend as much time as we can outdoors!

I receive training through my food program and take many EEC recognized training classes annually including First Aid & CPR.
