In home day care that focuses on a love for learning. I am a Librarian by profession who is now focusing on an in home day care. My Bachelors degree is in Speech Pathology, so little ones with developmental delays are welcome. I am not certified at this time, but have over ten years experience as a Librarian, working with children. I am an accomplished swimmer and love art, reading and sports. I have a ten year old son and two step sons, age 12 and 19. I am Caucasian and my husband and step sons are Filipino. I speak English.
What would a day at Love of Learning be like for your child? I focus on developmental stations for little ones, reading, art, sports and exploring different intellectual topics for pure enjoyment. I am a YMCA member, so if you are also that is helpful. I am an accomplished swimmer and can teach your children to swim. I value reading, so my program will include reading time. I love art and have a room dedicated to art in my home, so art projects will make up part of the day. I have a very large backyard and enjoy playing football and basketball with children. I have a basketball hoop also. I have a gift for instilling a love for learning in children.
My hours are from 7 am to 5 pm. I live in a very nice neighborhood, near Brendan Estates.
