My daughter, Rachael, and I, Jennie, run a home daycare that teaches children of many ages in a loving, safe environment. We have openings for infants up to age 13. Our daily activities include physical exercise and education, reading, computer skills, basic preschool and elementary-level curriculum help. Each day includes activities for each child based on their age and needs, nap time, exercise time, learning time, reading, and of course, PLAY time! We record children's activities on a daily take-home log and will soon be offering a Nanny Cam for parents to check on children while they are away...so that they have the peace of mind that they need. My partner and I are both parents of little girls ourselves and know how hard the transition to daycare can be. We always keep that in mind and always make sure our parents AND children are happy on a daily basis! We have HUGE hearts and will not only teach our children about books and numbers, but about positive behavior and well-being. We keep a lower provider-child ratio to make sure our little ones get the attention they deserve!
We also offer competitive rates and are open longer than your standard day cares. Our daycare is in its own area of our home and is used for nothing but a daycare facility. We, of course, are non-smokers and would only hire helpers that are smoke-free and have clean backgrounds as we do (in the event we would need an extra hand). Our home consists of only myself (Jennie-51) and my daughter, co-owner Rachael (28), and other daughter Caitlin (13) who is in school daily. We also have one dog that never goes into our childcare area and is ALWAYS outside or on the other side of the home in her own room. She is never around our children simply due to our concern for any child with allergies (she is a wonderful, well-behaved dog) but safety and health of the kids comes first!
