We recognize the different areas of child development and our practice is based on child development theory.

Children have different learning pace, and they all learn through different activities, and interactions. We provide a foundation for each child to ensure successful growth in all areas of development such as physical, emotional, social, behavioral, and intellectual.

The learning and growth process mostly happen through interactions and different activities. Some of the activities we provide are: arts and crafts, care play, building blocks, reading books, puzzles, singing and dancing, playing with toys, playing outdoors and many more.

We make sure that each individual child's needs are met. We encourage and guide children to use their abilities to do problem solving. At Lobat Family Daycare, we have variety of toys, puzzles, books, building blocks and art/craft materials. Some of our activities include, reading books, telling stories, care play, singing and dancing, paintings, making crafts and many more.

One of Lobat Family Daycare roles is to make sure that the children receive care, love, attention and that their needs are met. The children are encouraged to do age appropriate activities and chores independently, according to their abilities. They have time to play, learn, and relax. They are encouraged to have routines through snack, lunch, nap, and play time. Having routine brings them security and happiness. They learn to know their different feelings, become able to verbalize them, and learn how to manage them.

Our emphasis during the toddler years is on building self-confidence and fostering the natural curiosity that toddlers possess.

Infants' eating, sleeping and playing schedule is based on each individual child.
