Liz's Sitting Service just began in late 2018. I LOVE to love animals of all kinds. I'm a fastidious care taker, trained as an RN and as an English instructor but have always been in love with animals. I am passionate about animal welfare. I've volunteered for the Sacramento SPCA's feral cat spay and neuter clinics and thus acquired a bit of veterinary skill, but most of my pet sitting has been for dogs, all sizes and types. I offer short-term dog boarding, pop-in visits for walking, potty breaks, etc, and overnight stays in the pet parent's residence. I can provide many a positive testimonial from former clients where I first began informally gaining experience in 2017.

As a pet owner who has used many pet sitters myself, I know that love for animals is not enough to meet the needs for most pet parents. It's imperative to be a competent communicator, someone who demonstrates prompt responses, consistent good judgement in the home and outside. Our pets are too precious to be in the hands of flakes!! I treat my pet care clients with the same reverence as my former students and former patients --attention to detail matters.
