My name is Heather and I am 31 years old, and I have recently opened a home daycare. During the morning hours, I allow free time which the children can either play with toys or watch cartoons. We have breakfast between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. After breakfast, the children get to have a little more free play while I clean up, and prepare for activities. Then at about 10 am, we will gather for circle time where we go over our ABC's and Numbers along with months of the year and days of the week. After circle time, weather permitting, we will go outside. Lunch is from 11:30 am til 12:30 pm. We then have a 2 hour nap. When the children wake up from their nap they are given a snack and then we participate in an afternoon dance party. Then about 4 pm, they are given free time til their parents arrive for pick up. Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack are provided everyday. My hours are Mon-Fri, 7 am til 6pm; my rate is $150.00 a week. I am also CPR and First Aid Certified and I have also completed courses in SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome.
