Little Thinkers Home Preschool is a small, home-based preschool program in Encinitas. We are designed to be a stepping stone for your toddler's first experiences away from home. Our program focuses on curriculum appropriate for 2 -3 year olds, but we are flexible with enrolling students who are slightly younger or older. We are happy to help with potty training, though it is not required.
We offer a structured preschool setting in a nurturing, small group environment, (Up to 12 children and 2-3 teachers). Our program focuses on creativity and discovery through art, games, music and books. We provide and encourage hands on learning activities that require teamwork. Our special projects, games and seasonal murals are activities that the children experience and create together. Our curriculum is based on monthly themed units that practice skills such as matching, counting, sorting, letter/number identification, and vocabulary development. We also incorporate Spanish into our program when identifying numbers and colors. Daily schedule offers indoor/outdoor play, circle time, dance, snack, art, tumbling & games, story time, and lunch.
