I have been a childcare provider for over 10 years and have also worked as a lead teacher for 2 years.
I love working with children; and enjoy teaching and watching them learn, discover and grow! I have created a daily program/schedule that involves circle time, math, language, story time, crafts, outdoor play, indoor and interactive play. I also provide breakfast, lunch and snacks (included in rates).
I am trained in First Aid, CPR, AED; and CDA(Child Development) Certified. I am also certified by George Mason University in the following Child Development Trainng courses: Music & Movement, Teaching Math to Preschool, Moving Through Math, Preschool Behavior Strategies, Language Development for Infants/Toddlers, Social & Emotional Development, Brain Friendly Approaches to Discipline, Reducing Stress for Young Children.
State License is currently being processed.
