It is scientifically proven that most critical time in a child's growth is from birth to age 13. Here at Little star home care we believe each child is seen as a unique individual. Positive relationships are fostered between staff and children by practicing active learning techniques maintaining eye contact getting down to the level of the children and roll modeling positive interactions. Little stars home care uses creative Curriculum as the foundation of our planning. Creative curriculum is a researched based model that incorporates children development needs child initiated and teacher directed learning social emotional skills literacy math science and arts. Little stars home childcare teaches tailor curriculum based on daily observations of your child's interests and ongoing assessment paired with any goals or IEP call sits by you and your child's teacher or inclusive preschool program. Our curriculums designed to encourage positive interactions amongst peers by setting up areas in the center that are arrange for solitary play small group play in large group play. We planned activities geared toward individual children so that each child will feel valued. each day we provide structured and unstructured activities. We encourage parents to become part of the classroom not just as volunteers but as active participants in their child's learning. we also document the child's group learning so that parents have evidence of what happens in the classroom when they cannot be present. our center uses the program creative Curriculum to individualize instructions.
