Little Sprout Daycare

Our program is based on a learning environment. I'm Joneyris canelo. I'm 29 years old and I have an associated in childhood education. while I was studying I had to leave my son in a daycare but there wasn't a child care that provides a learning environment good enough in an accessible price, that why I came up with the idea to open a daycare together with my young sister who is doing a bachelor in children psychology at Hunter college. We put our academy knowledge together with our passion and experience to take care of children and teaching them at the same time with an age appropriated learning through play curriculum. We provide a safe, secure and learning environment with healthy food and a playful curriculum full of activities for children to reach their milestones and learn as they play. As we were studying children development, we believe that every child is unique and precious in their own ways and we're going to treat every child's needs individually with full attention, love and care, but guiding them to be kind with others and socialize in a positive way. We are enrolling children from 6 weeks to 12 years old.

INFANTS have their own nursery room with plenty of space to exercise and roll up, age appropriated toys to stimulate their sensories and books. The room is decorated very cozy and comfortable for our little ones. Every day reading time and baby music.

For our TODDLERS and PRESCHOOLER we have circle time with the letter, number, shape and a word of the week in which we are going to be working during the whole week during our daily activities such as songs, reading books, art and craft, painting, flash cards, puzzles and games.

Others activities that our children are going to be doing are: outside and inside physical activities, yoga for kids, cooking age appropriated, new food tasting games, bird watching in the park, library trips and others.

We also offer an excellent homework aid for our after school children.

Our parent will have a track of their children by photos and videos text message of the food time and daily activities. Parents are also very welcome to call their children or visit at any time.

Breakfast, Am snack, Lunch, Dinner.
