Little Saints Preschool

St. Thomas Little Saints is a faith based, Catholic preschool that not only nurtures your child's social and academic growth, but also introduces our Catholic faith through daily prayer and teachings. Children who begin education with faith based learning during the formative years have a stronger understanding of Christianity.

While we are a Catholic based preschool, we welcome children and families of all religious and non-religious backgrounds to learn and grow with us.

Many of our preschool students transition into our highly acclaimed St. Thomas Catholic School for Kindergarten-8th grade education. Our preschool curriculum is directly aligned with the Illinois Early Learning Standards by following Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP).

St. Thomas is Lighting the Way for our children's future by giving them the opportunity to attend a Catholic preschool. Little Saints Preschool is an extension of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School.

Saint Thomas the Apostle School opened in 1929 and through the dreams of many people, Little Saints Preschool was established in 2008. The goal of our preschool is to provide children with the opportunity to participate in activities which will develop them spiritually, socially, emotionally, and intellectually into self-assured children of God.

When the preschool opened in 2008, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton generously offered to house our preschool program. We started then with 2 classes for three and four year old children. Since then, Little Saints Preschool has grown in the number of families wanting a faith filled early education for their children.

With the opening of Little Saints Preschool, we will be able to continue the tradition of faith and education that St. Thomas School has aspired to since 1929.
