Little Rays Of Sunshine

Little Rays of Sunshine is a family daycare/preschool that is owned and operated by Ashley Blake. Our philosophy is every child deserves attentive care as well as daily activities to stimulate their growing minds. We believe that children are to be nurtured and provided with adequate tools to become successful in preparation for their academic future. Our program is tailored to meet the needs of our little scholars, as well as their families we believe it truly takes a village to assist in the well being of our future generation.
Each day children will partake in literacy, music, art, dramatic play as well as math. Learning is fun and children should never feel that they are forced into learning. Being able to provide our scholars with age appropriate, toys, puzzles and games is a key component in keeping their interest. Free play is also available and exercise is great outdoors where children can run and flex their muscles. Nutritious meals are prepared fresh daily that will not include empty calories or lack nutritious value. Quarterly field trips are coordinated and planned. Tis includes trips to the science museum, local library, Green Meadows farm, as well as local park.
As a mother of three I understand safety is a top priority Little Rays of Sunshine has been inspected by the Florida Department of Childrens and families has passed inspection and is currently undergoing licensing. Our owner and operator as well as household members have all passed a level 2 FBI screening and we are a smoke free place of business. Smoking is prohibited inside and outside the property. We are in compliance with our local fire department and trained and certified in pediatric & adult CPR as well as First Aid.
