Hello! I am a mother of two young boys starting a new career in child care. I have a 4 year degree in Hospitality Management that I have been using for the last 7 years. This is a 24 hour 365 day a year industry that has left me with very little time for much else. It has always been a dream of mine to run my own business. Since I have had children of my own I have become very interested in their growth and development which lead me down this new career path.
Little Pumpkins Child Care is located in South Saint Paul just 1 block from the police and fire station, and the library. I take children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. I do full-time, part-time, and drop in care. I provide well balanced meals that include breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks. From September - May we do a preschool curriculum, we spend our summer months outside exploring and taking weekly field trips.
Little Pumpkins provides children with a clean, safe, nurturing environment where they can explore and learn through play. I believe that children not only need to learn letters, numbers, etc. but also need to be polite, respectful, and have good manners. It is never to early to start instilling these good qualities! My goal is to help each child in my care become well rounded, confident individuals making it easy for them to transition to school and eventually out in the world!
