Little Prodigy Daycare started April 2014. I have previously worked at a home-based daycare and loved the experience. When I had my first daughter, I realized I wanted to stay home and be with her, so opening a daycare came to mind and that is how we started. I started studying early childhood education to learn more about children and their development to better assist them and the family. Children's first three years are very important. What they learn the first three years will determine their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development over the years and it can effect their self-esteem. We focus on children's independence, problem solving skills, creativity and prepare them for preschool by teaching them the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colors, etc. We have many toys to help stimulate their brains and the skills to guide them
