A Little About Me:
I used to live in Bethany and about 3 years ago I watched children in my home until my son was born. I decided to rejoin the workforce when he was born and now have decided to re-open my in home childcare. I have been married for 10 years and we have two children ages 7 and 2. I am the Nursery Director of our church and my husband and I are also the youth leaders . I have 10 plus years experience with children. I currently have 84 credit hours towards my B.A. in Childhood Education.

My Child Care Philosophy:
As a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy place for children where they can learn and grow physically, emotionally, intellectually, and socially at their own pace. I believe children learn through play and benefit from a structured yet flexible schedule. Activities will be offered which stimulate sensory motor development, language development and social interaction. The development of strong self-esteem is also a major goal.

I will be open from 7am-6pm M-F, but other arrangements could be made. I accept full time and part. I am on the Helping Hands food program that will insure a healthy diet at daycare for your little ones. I offer breakfast, two snacks, and lunch everyday. We will have the same schedule everyday, with time built in to be flexible, that includes outdoor play 2 times a day, singing/music time, story time and arts and crafts! We are a pet friendly home. We offer before and after school care for Washington Elementary (must be able to ride the bus) and Irving Middle school. We are working towards becoming a Large Family Home Daycare but there is a 6 month trial period with DHS to achieve this status, at that time we can transport children to school.
