Hi there! My name is Janelle. I operate a daycare out of my home. We are located in Lee's Summit off of 291 behind the Bayberry Crossing Shopping Center! I operate a safe, clean, smoke-free home in a quiet neighborhood. Our daycare space has it's own area in a clean, safe, finished basement. We will, also, utilize the main living space during the day to provide your child a home-like atmosphere. I want your child to be just as comfortable at my house as they are at home.
I have 3 children of my own (1 is school-age) and would love for your little guy/gal to join our family and all of the fun we have!
My hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. I provide breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks each day. We have a routine day involving circle time, outdoor play time (weather permitting), free play, and naps. During our circle time, we learn colors, numbers, letters, shapes, etc. We also have story time, puppets/plays, and manipulation and learning activities during circle time. I teach and exemplify manners (there's nothing cuter than a toddler saying "pwease") and cleanliness.
I have more than enough age-appropriate indoor toys for both boys and girls as well as puzzles, a playhouse, and a kitchen.
I have a background in Early Childhood Development.
