Little Monkeys Preschool & Daycare

I have been running my daycare/preschool for 7 years and have just now completed my dream of converting my daycare/preschool into a center based preschool program. I am a Mom of two wonderful children ages 13 and 10, but have cared for children from 4 weeks to 13 years of age. I have completed all state requirements for licensing, are Infant and Child CPR certified and have taken the State health and nutrition classes. I have converted a large portion of my home into a safe and child friendly area for the kids to learn and explore. We are a play based preschool program with themes that change every 2 weeks to keep our little ones enthralled and excited to learn. We teach using multiple styles of teaching to make sure every child is learning at their pace and in the way that best suits them. Our centers change daily with different activities that match the weekly themes. We have dramatic play, math/science, alphabet/writing, magnetic white board, STEM/blocks, sensory bins, reading center, art, and a felt board center. We use movement, music and dancing, lots of fine motor activities to strengthen those hands, games and puzzles and more to keep their minds going. I believe in positive guidance and re-direction to keep discipline and focus on teaching good manners and behavior to show the children the importance of being polite and learning how to follow rules.
