Hi. My name is Becki. I am so excited to be able to introduce myself to you. I am the mom to a beautiful daughter that we adopted at birth. She has taught me a lot about life & I am so blessed to have her. I am a fun creative & artistic gal! I love the outdoors, photography and animals! I have 30 + years of experience working with children & I take my job very seriously. I am CPR certified & trained in first aid.
I have been lucky enough to be able to provide an in-home child care/preschool for over 6 years now. I have a loving and structured learning environment that the children thrive in. The kids look forward to coming to my home every day & I love that! They have become great friends & look forward to their time together.
I try to teach/offer valuable lessons when kids come to my home, such as, learning to grow and develop social skills while they are here. They learn about manners and respect and why they are necessary and important in life. They learn how to cope with being away from their own home for a little while. Which is so helpful when they start kindergarten.
You can expect your child(ren) to be busy each day. We do not sit around and watch TV. We love to play outdoors and try to be outside as much as possible. We love to take walks and see what there is to discover (ie: bugs, blossoms, flowers, leaves falling etc). We have a monthly theme and learn letters, numbers, shapes & colors. We also focus on important people, past events, current events, where we live and what makes it unique. We learn about our world and animals and why we should treat them with respect. We engage in fun activities, like puzzles and games. We also include music and reading time, as well as, arts & crafts on Friday!
Additionally, I provide a healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks through-out the day.
I love that I am able to provide a fun & loving place for children to come to each day. My home is a safe place to learn, to play & to grow. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outside play.
