Hi, my name is Amber! I am a mom of two girls (7 and 1). I attended Aurora University and graduated in 2017. I have my Teaching License (PEL) for grades K-9. I have endorsements to teach middle school social studies and English Language Learners K-12.
I worked in childcare for almost 5 years. I worked with infants (6weeks) - school aged students. I ran a phonics program for 2-5 year olds during my time in childcare too.
I decided to leave my job and work from home in December of 2020.
I like to incorporate Montessori education in my program.
Children are allowed to choose their activities and encouraged to become independent.
I also think it is important for children to have daily experiences with nature.
