Little Lights

We have full-time child-care positions open at our home in Palmer for ages 0-8. We are a Christian family teaching kids about God's love, with some Christian books and learning materials involved. Children will benefit from positive social experiences, opportunities for imaginative play, indoor and outdoor activities, special age-appropriate learning times, quiet rest times as needed, as well as nourishing meals - all balanced in a healthy, flexible routine.

About Serena: Serena grew up in Eagle River and Nome, helping her family with a home daycare as a young teenager. She later left the nest to study Biology for an undergraduate degree, returning to Alaska in the summer to work at a Children's Home in Nome. She is passionate about sharing the wonder of science with kids and working tirelessly to ensure that the emotional and physical needs of children are well met, so that they can thrive in an optimal environment. Serena's philosophy is that the only good foundation for a child to grow and learn is the security of a loving connection with their caregivers.

About Daniel: Daniel grew up in Trapper Creek wielding an axe for firewood and hunting local game for dinner. He's since worked in the medical field as a CMA, and then switched fields and worked his way up to Maintenance Supervisor with impeccable professionalism in both fields. He has a love of cooking, wood crafting, and art, and a spirit for adventure. He blesses us regularly with 5 star meals and priceless learning experiences and adventures.
