Our hours of operation are 7:30am to 6:00pm. I am a credentialed elementary school teacher. Something Little Learners offers that many home day cares do not is an academic emphasis to prepare your child for kindergarten. We teach preschool in the morning from 9:00to 12:00pm. Children will work on numbers, shapes, alphabet, pre-reading skills, counting, science concepts, along with other educational activities planned myself. Afternoon care will include crafts, planned physical activities and inside and outside play. We give a morning and afternoon snack every day. We have access to our neighborhood park that we take our children to throughout the week.
My home is clean, safe and children love it! I have a clean high fenced back yard with a large play house, and outdoor toys such as todler slides and tricycles. We also have a well kept garden including pumpkins, tomatoes, squash, strawberries, zucchini and variouis fruit. We use our garden to help teach children about how plants grow and where we get our food.
