Welcome to Little Learners!

I am Michelle DeCaso the owner and early childhood educator at Little Learners.

We are a licensed family childcare home that offers a fun, engaging, and educational childcare / preschool experience in Monument, CO.

At Little Learners, we recognize that young children learn best through hands-on experiences and meaningful interactions. Therefore, our program has a play-based, no stress approach. I have a decade of experience in preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade classrooms, so I am well versed in what does and does not work. I am ready and eager to help your little one learn, grow, and be confidant and ready as they enter kindergarten after graduating my program.

I am a mother of three boys: 21, 18, 12 and a 4-year-old girl. I have been working with children for 18+ years and it is my chosen profession.

I have plenty of newborn, toddler, and school age experience. I have been a full-time nanny, worked at an accredited child development center, provided in-home services for children and adults with special needs, owned a licensed Air Force home daycare, worked at a parent participation preschool, have been an avid parent volunteer in my children's classrooms since 2008, and worked for Natomas Unified in both Special Education and General Education since 2012. I attended TVI college of New Mexico and completed their Child Development Associate program. I also attended Arapahoe College of Colorado and completed their Director Certification program.

Added to this experience, I am also flexible, dependable, patient, very neat and organized and provide a safe and attentive environment for children.
