Little Learners Children Center

I am an in home daycare provider with over 30 years experience. While working on my degree I have had my daycare home as well as directed a churches daycare and preschool and taught kindergarten in a private school. I have also owned my own daycare center along with my mother who was a retired teacher. My home daycare has always been my passion because I am able to work with children of all ages. We have an exciting developmental preschool as well as school age activities for siblings. We keep our infant and preschool ratio small so we can give them lots of individual attention. My helper attended college for caregiving and both of us take opportunities for stars training as well as workshops through the puyallup school district. We service Shaw Road with bus transportation to and from the daycare as well as Wildwood which is in walking distance. Our helper would walk Wildwood students to and from school. We take private paid children as well as DSHS. Nutrition is very important at Little Learners. We participate in the USDA food program as well as meet and exceed all current licensing requirements. All staff has current CPR as well as food handlers cards. We have large fenced playground in our backyard as well as a park across the street so we can take walking field trips. During the summer the children participate in a summer daycamp that includes lots of extra outdoor activities.
