I often equate having kids as feeling like having my heart living on the outside. My two little hearts are the reason I live and breathe. I know you feel the same way and that is why I started our daycare, Little Hearts Matter.
Myself and my husband run our fully licensed, in-home daycare in the South Hill Puyallup area. We have two young children of our own and want to be able to raise our family together as well as helping other parents have a safe, stable, home environment for their own children to play, learn and grow.
Our goal is to provide an environment of sensitivity and understanding. We strive to teach each child appropriate manners, kindness and to be respectful towards every person.
While we are not a preschool, we do have daily notebooks including worksheets for handwriting, numbers, colors, letters, shapes, etc. per child. Most of what we work on is Preschool-Pre-K level but we can and do adapt for age as needed. :)
We provide two meals and two snacks throughout the day, as well as the opportunity for nap/quiet time from noon-3 p.m.
