Little Explorers Preschool

For nearly 25 years, I have worked as a preschool director, teacher, and executive in California. I launched my home preschool in early August 2013 and love what I'm doing!

My home (located on a cul-de-sac in a family-friendly community) provides a warm and caring environment in which children receive special attention. They learn through books, music, crafts, cooking projects, and play in our spacious backyard filled with fun equipment! My goal is to prepare each preschooler for kindergarten.

My school is designed for children ages 3-5 (including independent 2-year-olds) with a capacity of 6 preschoolers per morning or afternoon sessions (mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and afternoons from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.). Children who attend full-time can come between 6:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. I currently have room for 2 school-age children as well.

I offer breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner (if requested).

I send parents regular online reports of their child's activities (including photos). My school also offers regular Parent's Night Out as well as periodic special events.

My husband and I have been married for 38 years. We have two adult children (both successful in their fields) and our first grandson was born last December, so I'm a young grandma!
