I run a home day care that offers care to children of all ages. I do more than just play with the children I care for. I use a curriculum that is geared toward specific age groups, in order to guide those children to grow in a variety of development areas. I have a daily routine that I offer for parents to view so that they know what to expect each day. I am a licensed day care, and as a result I adhere to the state regulations for home day care facilities. As a result I have also been inspected by the state to ensure that those regulations have been followed.
I am a mother of two, and I have been working with children of all ages ever since high school when I first started volunteering at a local day care center. I think of teaching children as more than a job; it's a lifestyle that I truly enjoy!
