At Little Elephants, we strive to create a nurturing and fun environment for your little one. We believe that play is the most important part of being a kid, and it is the cornerstone of our day. Through play, kids are genuinely motivated to participate because they know they'll be having fun!
As educators, we believe that it is part of our responsibility to help children learn to be independent thinkers and problem-solvers. We use Montessori-inspired practices to foster self-reliance, which in turn boosts self-confidence.
Each day at Little Elephants will include diverse activities including daily yoga/stretching, nap/quiet time, arts and crafts, music and dance, read-aloud circle time, science experiments, and plenty of time outdoors.
Last but not least, we believe that open dialogue with families is vital to providing your little one with consistent and loving care. We make parent-educator communication a top priority at Little Elephants and welcome your input! We hope that your family will join ours for many years to come.
About Us
Colleen is a licensed Family Child Care Provider and a graduate from Boston College with a degree in Elementary Education and Child Development. She has always dreamed about opening her own childcare/pre-school and started Little Elephants in late 2012, not long after her son Chase was born. She looks forward to many years as a daycare provider and mom. She loves yoga, cooking, and Game of Thrones.
