Little Ducklings Preschool & Childcare

Little Ducklings Preschool & Childcare (License #406213966) is now enrolling children ages 18 - 36 months for a Toddler Class featuring a "Tot School" curriculum. Tot School will be 9-11:30 a.m. with a nap and childcare afterwards. Care is available 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Up to 3 full-time (Monday-Friday) spaces will be available for a total class size of 5 children.

The tot school/preschool curriculum has activities geared to the children's age levels and developmental stages, including Montessori-inspired activities, art, music, pre-reading, pre-writing, pre-math, outdoor play, stories, science, gardening, and more in a play-based, child-centered environment. The childcare room is warm and inviting with toddler and preschool toys. French doors open onto a fenced yard with a play house, swingset, sandbox, wheeled toys, brick patio, and a lush lawn.

As the teacher/licensee, I have a valid California teaching credential, a Master's Degree in Education, a Minor in Music, eleven years of classroom teaching experience here in San Luis Obispo County, and, most importantly, sixteen years of "Mom" experience. As is required of all family childcares, I am certified in CPR, First Aid, and Health & Safety. My assistants and I have been fingerprinted, background checked, and have tested negative for TB.
