I started this business because of my concern toward animals of all kinds. I mentored with two successful pet care professionals, one in San Francisco and another in Atlanta. I wanted to be equipped with the best tools and knowledge available on how to optimally run a pet sitting and dog walking pet care service.

I learned from my mentors that growing this business by providing a quality service for my Clients was far more valuable than just adding on a bunch of Clients for volume purposes. Therefore, my goal was then as is now, to continually build success by completely satisfying one Client at a time by representing that Client's best interests during any sitting or dog walking activity.

While I primarily manage the business, I do pet sitting and dog walking as well. I do, however, also hire other professionals who have joined me in my quest to take care of Clients' pets. By having multiple sitters/dog walkers, I effectively provide double and triple coverage for my Clients assuring them that Little Characters Pet Sitting will always be there for them when they need us.

The characteristics I seek in a pet caregiver are a combination of the following: patient, upbeat, honest, empathetic, prompt, respectable and dignified. Above all, I seek people who have animals themselves and understand how to care for them. I also request several references and verify that these characteristics are genuine.
