I have approximately 20 years' experience in child care which includes raising my three children, ages 9 to 20 years old. My philosophy is that the child care experience should be an extension of the family, therefore, our "loaner" children are cared for with the love and respect that they would have in their own family. I am very blessed to have a classroom/playroom/bathroom suite exclusively for my "loaner" children which is fully equipped for education as well as play. My business is definitely a family endeavor as my children and my husband fully support opening our home for the care of children. I am not licensed due to the fact that I live my faith in Jesus Christ and share that with the children in my care in a generic and non-denominational way. I will never have more than four permanent children in my care at any given time.

This allows for more one on one care and bonding with not only the child, but the parents as well. It has been my experience that this maintains consistency between the child's home and the child care facility.

My 14-year-old daughter is a very integral part of my business to the extent that she has successfully completed the Red Cross baby sitter certification program which includes CPR and First Aid training as well as various aspects of the care of children.
