At Lit l Scholars we build a learning environment by providing a professional, well trained staff that is capable of working with your children using positive reinforcement and redirection. By using the tools of assessment we establish and maintain a child s developmental needs to build a learning environment that will best facilitate their positive growth. With safe transportation to and from local schools, we can provide excellent after school and summer program activities that reinforce what the children are learning in school. Working with outside organizations we reinforce programs established for special and developmental needs.

Children are encouraged to experiment and learn from mistakes and to develop an understanding of the natural consequences. This happens as the children explore in a clean, safe and developmentally appropriate environment.

At Lit l Scholars we encourage physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. The children are provided with wholesome, nutritious meals to aid their physical and mental growth and to help in the battle with childhood obesity through understanding healthy eating habits. By building a development portfolio for each child in all areas of development, it gives a picture of each individual child s needs. Our goal is to assist parents in providing the children with tools necessary to be successful in life.
