Hello!
I am a childcare provider and preschool teacher serving families on the northwest side of Chicago and its close surrounding suburbs. Within the last 20 years I have also taught dance, lead after-school theater groups, lead parent and tot classes and was a Sunday school teacher. I care for children ages six weeks to five years old. I am licensed with two full time teaching assistants. My home environment is a safe, clean, nurturing place where your child can thrive and grow. It is important to me that your child feels like my daycare is their "home away from home", so the majority of my house is utilized for your child's sense of security and comfort. On the lower level your child will love our big play/classroom that is filled with learning toys and fun activities! I also have a cozy nursery on the main level for infants and a big enclosed backyard for exploration and play! I am excited to be adding a new music and movement room soon too! Being blessed to raise three daughters of my own I can understand how challenging it can be for working parents to balance all of their commitments and responsibilities. For this reason I strive to offer a program that will enrich your child's whole development while putting your mind at ease. Reading, music, creative movement, gardening, cooking, art projects, fun, and learning are a regular part of our daily routine. Healthy meals and snacks are also provided daily. I believe that my home daycare should be a place where you feel confident and comfortable leaving your child each day. Your little one will be cared for with the utmost kindness, love and respect. My current and former families love the "family" feel that they and their children receive while in my care.
