At Lion of Judah Schoolhouse, we give children a strong, biblical foundation, in a loving, home environment. Our school's mission is to introduce all children to God through enriching bible based teaching, fun and creative play, music & arts, and hands-on activities. We have openings for children ages 2 - 6 years old in our Preschool, and Kindergarten program. Our learning environment models the philosophy of Maria Montessori, who believed that various ages could learn together, and from one another. Montessori classes place children in multi age groups, forming localized communities in which older children spontaneously share their knowledge with the younger ones. Therefore, our learning environment models that of a one-room schoolhouse. Children study bible, history, geography, science and fine arts together. Older students are taught to lead younger students, and younger children learn to follow and recognize role models. In addition, early lessons in discipleship are developed, and children develop a broader understanding of social relationships. Call and register today!
