Lindsey's Angel Check

Lindsey`s Angel Check was created to help Seniors have a sense of security in life that someone is checking on their well- being. Seniors are living longer but still want their independence. It was started from my own personal experiences and feeling uneasy when my best friend passed away. We talked every day and after I lost her I felt uneasy thinking I did not have her anymore to check on me. Then my neighbor passed away and was in his place for days before someone knew he was deceased. After that I knew it was time to start Lindsey`s Angel Check.

It is sad but true that 43% of senior or disabled citizens suffer from depression and loneliness. They love their independence but still want that sense of security to know someone is checking on them.

Families are so busy in today s times. Life is very hectic and they find it very hard to get everything that is needed done in one day. Most families have both adults working, have children, and busy schedules. There never seems to be enough time to call that loved one and check on them. Sometimes days go by before you remember you have not checked on your loved one.

Being a Nurse for 20+ years I decided it was time to provide a personal contact phone service for well-checks, not an automated phone check, for that peace of mind.
