Linares Family Child Care's values children's unique experiences and abilities. We strive to provide children with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that will enhance children's understanding of the world. Linares Family Child Care is committed to providing a service of high quality to all the children and families we serve. Our indoor and outdoor classrooms are organized to promote development among the various domains (social, cognitive, physical, and emotional). We provide children with a clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate space for children to learn and explore.
Linares Family Child Care opened its doors in 2003 with the objective of providing diverse families with affordable high-quality childcare. Our staff is qualified to work closely with children of all ages and needs- staff participate in ongoing professional development training and work in partnership with resource and referral agencies to provide families with affordable childcare.
Linares Family Child Care has partnered with the Ventura Food Program to provide healthy balanced meals to the children in our program with no out of pocket costs to families. In addition, we offer after-school pick-up for children attending schools within the area and alongside parents to facilitate the transition from diapering to toilet training.

Linares Family Child Care is a licensed facility working with children between the ages of 0-13 years. Over the years, we have provided our services to multiple families and children and have created a place for children to learn, play, and have fun.

15 years ago, I decided to start my own Family Child Care program to help working families in my community. With very little education, I enrolled into several college courses and attended professional development workshops after 12 hours days. Over the years, I have made use of this knowledge by incorporating it into my work with the children. After years of hard work and determination, I received an Associates Degree in Child Development from Los Angeles Valley College and hold a Master Teacher Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
