The Lilliputian Montessori School serves students from preschool age 2 1/2 through Kindergarten.
Our school curriculum follows the child development research and writings of Dr. Maria Montessori. The world of the child may appear chaotic; from this chaos children must gradually create order. They learn to distinguish among the impressions that assail their senses and gain mastery of themselves and their environment. We believe in each child's creative potential, their drive to learn and their right to be treated as individuals. In order to develop a child's physical, intellectual and spiritual potential to the fullest, each child must be given the freedom to work and move within limits, which are achieved through order, respect and self-discipline. Through this environment each child develops the skills and self-confidence to allow for a lifetime of creative learning.
