I have an in-home family daycare offering excellent care for your child! We are located in Ida school district, but Bedford Monroe Rd. Elementary buses also drop off. My child-friendly home sits on just under 2 acres and has plenty of room to play both indoors and outdoors. I graduated from Monroe County Community College's Registered Nursing program in 1996 and had been in the nursing profession in a hospital setting for 15 years (mostly in the ER). I have 3 boys: ages 5 years old, 8 years old, and 15 years old. I have being caring for children since I was 11 years old. I will provide excellent, safe, affordable care for your child.


Our daycare is definitely not a "center" or a "preschool". We allow the children to be in a comfortable "home-like" setting, and we do most of our learning through play and daily activities. My goal is to build your child 's self-confidence while encouraging independence. Our daycare children enjoy being able to sing, dance, be silly, play games, and do lots of arts & crafts. We enjoy taking the children on outings such as going to the zoo, hands-on museums, going to the local farms, playing at the park, and swimming along with many others. We try to make learning fun, and infuse early education into our everyday activities. I am currently licensed for up to 12 children with the State of Michigan for daycare.
