We work with the whole child to provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. Hands on interactions with a variety of materials provides children the opportunity to learn without knowing they are learning and having fun interacting with their environment. Children in the Pre-K program at Lil Buckaroos Preschool children explore a variety of concepts, but are not required to master them before entering Kindergarten. Children learn these concepts at their own pace. What is learned in Pre-K is considered a bonus. Children are taught with hands-on materials, real life experiences, songs, and games. They are assessed by observation and work samples. For school success, children must develop physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and creatively. Play is a crucial part of this development of the whole child.Your preschooler will learn age-appropriate social, emotional, physical, and intellectual skills.
