Lief

Lief is a comprehensive nanny share service for children 3months to 3 years of age in Southern Maine. We offer our providers full employment and benefits not typically offered through traditional nanny contracts with more autonomy and smaller ratios than a daycare center. We do all the work of matching like-minded families (similar schedule, location, parenting philosophy, child ages, etc.) into groups of three children and then place a trained, vetted provider into one of the family's homes.

The nanny share model allows parents to pay a lower rate for more customized care, with the socialization benefits of a traditional care. Lief also takes all the work out of interviewing, billing, and scheduling so parents can focus on everything else.

We believe that by providing more parents with access to childcare and by creating a more sustainable long-term career for providers, we hope to encourage more providers to stay in the field giving more parents the opportunity to pursue their own professional goals.
