Liberty Montessori School is a loving home based preschool program for children, 2.5 years to 5 years of age.
Liberty Montessori School (LMS) is committed to following Dr. Maria Montessori's principles as closely as possible. Children are able to experience opportunities that allow him or her to unfold their own inherent abilities, talents and interests, freely and at their own pace. Respect for all beings is fostered through cultural education and a love of our world. We offer a loving, beautiful space where learning and work are considered pleasure. Children will learn to be independent, to move carefully and treat each other respectfully. Montessori's specially designed core materials have been selected to meet the needs of a range of students, and to meet the goals of an authentic Montessori program.
Trained professionals and specialized teachers participate in a course of study that includes educational philosophy and academic training in the curricula areas such as early childhood developments, classroom management and uses of materials for individual lessons.
The owner of LMS, Lisa Soucy, is currently enrolled in Early Childhood Education Courses and will be enrolling in a specialized, accredited Montessori Training Program recognized by MACTE, during the course of the 2017-2018 academic school year.
