Learn how to use a birth ball and various labor positions to help progress labor with your partner and doula. During your labor, your doula will help you get into positions, educate you on how to progress labor, help you decide if and when to use medical interventions, help promote physical and emotional comfort, and help guide your partner to encourage you and comfort you during your delivery. Your doula can assist with lactation and pumping, screen for postpartum, teach you newborn care techniques and assist you around the house during your postpartum visits.
