READINESS
The readiness program is for younger children starting at about 4 years of age. This is designed to introduce children to skills involving following instructions, alphabet, phonics, colors, numbers, body awareness, picture reading, story development as well as patterns, sequencing and number concepts and problem solving. This is a well-structured, fun-filled opportunity to introduce your child to the joy of learning.

READING AND WRITING
The Reading program, including spelling and writing, is for children who want to further develop specific reading skills. Some of these include: word analysis skills, finding the main idea, sequencing, building vocabulary, drawing conclusions, referencing, locating the answer, getting the facts and writing techniques. Our tutors and teachers use a wide variety of materials used to keep students interested. Each student will also be involved in monitoring their own advances which excites and increases motivation.

MATH
The Math program covers math from the readiness level through Algebra and Geometry. With computational skills as well as problem solving of equal importance, the math tutoring program seeks to bring about the true enjoyment one can achieve while learning.

TEST PREPARATIONS
The Test Preparation program focuses on Private School Entrance exams as well as the SSAT and SAT Prep. This program offers students such skills as Vocabulary and Analogies, Upper level reading comprehension (verbal) and Math (quantitative) prevalent in these types of tests. Writing practices and interview techniques as well as test taking skills are appropriate to each test and age of the student.

How does it work?
To begin the learning center programs, your child will be given standardized tests to specifically identify the appropriate academic level of instruction. This procedure will allow your child to be placed at a comfortable level to alleviate any anxiety which might be felt if placed too high. Tests given(Reading, Math or Writing) will depend on your wishes and your child's needs. The results will be shared with you along with recommendations
