Learning Tree Child Development

The Learning Tree is Accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (N.A.E.Y.C.), an Approved Preschool by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), a Level 5 in EXCELS (measuring excellence in Early Child hood Education - highest level), Licensed by MSDE and a leader in Early Childhood Education (ECE). We accept children from six weeks of age to 5 years old. Our staff are all CPR and First Aid certified as well as 13 staff who are Medication Administration Trained. The Learning Tree is open 7:AM to 6:PM, Monday through Friday.

At the Learning Tree we believe that children should spend their day in a bright safe environment, which will promote their social, physical, cognitive and emotional growth.

Our program is a child centered program which provides developmentally appropriate activities each day. We encourage children to become independent and to learn how to handle social situations in a positive manner.

We provide an environment of unconditional love and support so your child can develop a positive self image.

Children are our future and the Early Years are extremely important. At The Learning Tree we help each child get a strong foundation for learning and growth by responding to their individual needs and interests. Our philosophy is children learn through play and making their day interesting as well as fun.
