Learning Pond Daycare

Hello families! My name is Ashley and my husband and I are starting a new business called The Learning Pond Daycare. I have an associates degree in Early Childhood education, have done a five month internship at McCormick Elementary here in Eugene, Oregon, I have been certified in CPR and have babysat most of my adult life. Also my husband and I are expecting our first child in November! I have decided to turn my experience and education into an at home daycare beginning with three children and eventually growing the business to a facility outside the home where I will then be able to help more families. I am currently in the process of business creation and licensing for the new facility. The rates are much better than standard child care centers as these are the beginning stages of my business, and I really just hope to build a great clientele and meet some wonderful families. Plus with my knowledge in Early Childhood Education, I will make sure your child is engaged while here. Right now we are set up for activities outside (on our fenced playground), movies, coloring and an abundance of learning toys (as I call them). We have three loving animals at the house, one kitten, one cat and a dog all of whom are very loving, and provide more great learning opportunities. I've proofed the house for safety and cannot wait to begin this endeavor.
