Learning Nest

We are a licensed Preschool and follow the research-based and developmentally appropriate curriculum Adventures for Toddlers and Adventures in Learning from Better Beginnings, a program of the Arkansas Department of Education.
At Learning Nest, we are dedicated to providing high-quality early care and education through close and thoughtful partnership with educators, families, child development professionals, and our local state agencies.
We believe that children attain their fullest potential in nurturing and secure developmentally appropriate learning environments with caring and attentive adults and meaningful relationships with their peers.
Staff at Learning Nest Preschool believes, that the best way to get children to behave is to keep them busy and to “Catch then being good”. Positive reinforcement and a well-planned daily schedule keep most behavior issues to a minimum. When necessary we use discussion and/or redirection to help children work out their issues and get back to learning and having fun!
Guidance techniques at Learning Nest are designed and carried out in such a way as to help the individual child develop self control, sensitivity for others and to assume responsibility for his or her actions.
Learning Nest strives to be advocates for all children, families, and educators within our community and beyond as we lead by example to have a positive impact on the future of our youngest citizens, families, and the field of early childhood education.
