Learn & Grow Play Care

Learn & Grow Play Care: We are a Mother & Daughter Team located in Westfield.

We run a clean, organized, and established in-home child care out of my house in Westfield. We are Infant & Child CPR Certified, First Aid Certified and we practice Safe Sleep. We take care of all of the children as if they were our own; they receive lots of care, love, and attention.

We have loads of toys for the children to play with, we utilize interactive learning methods, and we play outdoors as long as the weather permits.

You will find our services to be family oriented, fun, and structured in a way that allows your child to still be a child while learning at the same time.

The children we care for range from 10 weeks old to 2 1/2 years old.
Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

For infants; we take time for cuddling, feeding, napping, and stimulation play to help them grow and develop their fine & gross motor skills. We want your infants schedule to mirror what it is like at home.

For toddlers, we currently have time set aside for:
~ CIRCLE TIME (reading time while meals are prepared)
~ SNACK TIME (healthy, that consists of fruits or vegetables)
~ ACTIVITY TIME (playing outdoors, dancing, playing board games, doing puzzles, etc)
~ MEAL TIME (meals are well balanced)
~ Reading Time (occurs through out the day & always before meals and naps)
~ Nap Time (children sleep in separate rooms by age: infants and toddlers)
~ FREE TIME (to just be a kid. For good behavior we have Fun Friday's like pajama day, movie day, special snack day, etc.)
~ CRAFT TIME (finger painting, coloring, creating felt animals, making paper finger puppets, etc.).

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US:
My mom has many years experience as she has raised 3 children while also nannying for the children of various friends and family members. For the past 2 years she has been gracious enough to come to my house and care for my daughter while I was at work. Now, I have been blessed to stay home and enjoy the opportunity of taking care of my children and I am excited to extend my services to others. While in high school and in college I would babysit on weekends and would nanny during the summer time.

Our services are tax deductible. We also require a signed copy of our contract (very easy to understand and we go over it in person with you when we meet to discuss your needs) to be on file. Daily reports are provided. References available upon request.
