About the business
I am wanting to keep a maximum of 2 children in my home until I obtain a license. I have a little over 9 years of experience in childcare. I have worked in childcare centers for about 3 years and was a nanny for 7. I will be leaving a family that I have been with for 2 years in January to do this from home. I have 4 years experience as a medical assistant, including 1 year in a pediatric practice. When my youngest son was born, I stayed home and home-schooled my oldest for 4 years. My children are 6 and 14 years old. They are now in public school. I have a pretty laid back personality, but I feel structure is important. I am so much more than a babysitter and I hope to become a part of your family! My rates are $140/wk. includes care, wipes for those in diapers, breakfast, lunch, and 2 snacks. My hours 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Jessica is very dependable and flexible with her schedule to help meet the needs of my family. She has worked with me for two years. She started with me when my son was 3 and daughter was almost 1. She has helped both of them with reading, writing, and learning sight words. She spent her own personal time to come up with care plans/lesson plans on where my children were educationally and where they needed to be.
Jessica helped my daughter overcome her fear of the water and learn to swim. She has definitely been a great asset to my family and I would use her in a heartbeat to babysit and/or tutor again anytime.
