Our program is taught and directed by Karen Pipher B.F.A., B. Ed., M.A., a highly qualified teacher who has received her CA Early Childhood Development Master Teacher, Program Director, and Site Supervisor certification. She also holds an Elementary (K-8) Multiple Subject teaching credential, and 2 commendations from the County of Los Angeles for outstanding service to the community.
The Learn & Discover Preschool provides children with a high-quality preschool education in a nurturing child care home. Children learn and develop skills as they explore and discover new ideas through a combination of creative play and fun guided activities.
Activities which are presented each day purposefully promote children's growth in a wide range of developmental areas (social/emotional, cognitive/academic, physical, self-help skills, language/literacy, music, and the arts etc.).

Ms Karen and her staff are extremely professional, warm, and simply great with kids. I wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to all. Even my extremely shy daughter felt so welcome, with no hesitation on her first day. I have heard similar things from other parents. Karen is an amazing teacher that makes the kids want to go school. My daughter was afraid to go to Preschool but Karen turned that fear into excitement for learning! Learn and Discover is what I wanted from Montessori but at a much more reasonable price. Our only regret is not enrolling her sooner, which I guess wasn't possible thanks to Covid. Thanks for nothing Covid!

We LOVED our time with Ms. Karen. Specifically our daughter. She begged to go to school every day because she looked forward to it so much. She brought home art work daily and has learned so much in her time at preschool. We cannot recommend her more!
